Why thank you! You are the first person (outside of family and friends) that has sent a compliment about my blog Canadian Cauldron. Very much appreciated!

Hi Edward,

It seems like a curse to have so many projects on the go that there just isn't enough time to shoehorn them into the space. I've spent the bulk of the day doing the taxes and it feels like a tithe to the church and the manor house, giving the government a day of my time to give them money.

Dear Edward,

Welcome to our community! Hope you are well.

You have full use of our blog, forum, music etc. Please create a ‘group’ if you are going to do extensive work on here. You can make more then one group if you need to.

Photo Guidelines:
Please create a family album and professional album.

When you add/review photos click “Just Me” and add to
the personal album you created. This way they do not appear on the main page but can be viewed from your personal page.

For your professional album photos click ‘Everyone’ and add them to your professional album.

Main page photo guideline: ie: promo shot of yourself, book covers and poetry organizations logos are accepted on the main page. We allow everyone 3 days to figure out the guidelines after that personal photos on the main page may be removed.

You may make a personal family album and start over but be sure you click ‘Just Me’ for your personal photos.

If you have ?’s drop us a note..

Thank you for your time.

Amnesty.org

Let's tell Iris Robinson where she can stick it!

That's the rather piquant name of a Facebook group at the heart of a fightback against homophobia in Northern Ireland. The four thousand-strong campaign group on the social networking site is just one element of an online and offline campaign to challenge the anti-gay comments of Iris Robinson, an MP, MLA, Councillor, Chair of the NI Assembly's health committee (and, coincidentally, wife o

Tom Paine and The Rights of Man

It may soon be the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but December 10th 1948 – albeit a massively significant moment – was not the starting point for human rights. We could have a long argument about which is the most significant date in the history of the development of human rights, but 1791 has got to be in with a shout. It was in London in Fe

'Outsourcing abuse'

There is a lot to be said for 'bringing human rights home'. I personally believe that, as individuals and humans, we have the moral authority to criticise other countries and others' governments for human rights abuses. If this was not a core moral belief of mine, I doubt that I would be such a strong supporter of Amnesty International. But I would probably go a step further and say that

Is Northern Ireland fuelling genocide in Darfur?

Could Northern Ireland be helping to fuel genocide in Darfur? That's the almost incredible prospect opened up by new revelations from the BBC. I have previously blogged about the possibility that Northern Ireland companies could be helping to supply key parts for the Chinese K-8 light attack jet. In turn, it is feared by Amnesty that these jets have been sold on by China to human rights-a
